Nuclear Dispute: Israel Calls For Nuclear Talks With Iran To Be Halted

Israel's government warns of an increase in global terror if the nuclear deal with Iran is reactivated. This is a "bad deal" for the West. Israeli Prime Minister Jair Lapid has called on the West to end talks with Iran about reviving the nuclear deal. The negotiations must be stopped immediately, the agreement is "a bad deal," said Lapid in Jerusalem. Sanctions relaxation would add billions of dollars to Iran's treasury and allow it to fund terrorist groups like the Palestinian Hamas. Recently there had been movement in the Vienna negotiations on reactivation of the international nuclear agreement with Iran. US officials said Iran had relaxed its blockade of some UN nuclear inspections and was no longer insisting that the US government remove the Revolutionary Guards from its terrorist list. Malaysian Federal Court Upholds 12-Year Prison Sentence For Former Prime Minister Najib Razak

Added to the prison sentence is the imposition of a fine of 47 million euros for abuse of power and money laundering. Malaysia's Federal Court on Tuesday upheld the 12-year prison sentence for corruption against former Prime Minister Najib Razak in connection with the embezzlement of the state fund 1MDB. The judges of the court have unanimously rejected the former president's appeal against the conviction issued in July 2020 and confirmed by an appeals court in December of the following year for the misappropriation of 42 million ringgit (9.9 million dollars or €8.8 million) from the 1MDB while ruling the country. The former leader, who ruled the country from April 2009 to May 2018 and pleads not guilty to the accusations related to the 1MDB, will also have to pay a fine of 210 million ringgit (46 million dollars or 47 million euros ). The USA and South Korea are preparing for a conflict with North Korea with military exercises. The government in Seoul expects a clear reaction from North Korea. The US and South Korea are holding their largest joint military maneuvers in five years. As a spokesman for the South Korean Defense Ministry said, the exercises had started as planned. He did not provide any information on the number of soldiers involved or the military equipment. Training for soldiers from both armies is to be combined with computer simulations, joint field exercises and a major civil defense exercise by South Korea by September 1 under the name Ulchi Freedom Shield. A Florida judge has ordered the partial release of documents authorizing a search warrant for ex-President Donald Trump's home . Judge Bruce Reinhart, at a hearing, directed the Justice Department to make redaction proposals next week, US media unanimously reported from the courtroom. Several media had requested publication. The Department of Justice, however, had argued that this could affect future investigations and the cooperation of witnesses. Jay Bratt, the department's head of counterintelligence and export control, told the judge releasing the statement was not in the public interest because it could harm the ongoing investigation.
