A lmost everyone interested in the situation in the Middle East will be familiar with the " Deal of the Century" . This is a so-called peace plan drawn up by the administration of US President Donald Trump, especially his son-in-law Jared Kishner, for a solution to the Palestinian problem and peace in the Middle East. In fact, it seeks to give Israel full access to occupied Palestine, while offering the Palestinians a small piece of land on the outskirts of their own country that they can make their home. The plan was announced by the US president a year ago and was and still is supported by some Gulf Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
